It was great attended the 2011 Grammy Awards this year. I met Justin Bieber and Katy Perry on the Red Carpet. They were both super friendly and great to talk to. I also bumped into Kim Kardashian again. She looked amazingly beautiful as always.
One of my favorite highlights of the evening was Mick Jagger’s tribute the the late music legend Solomon Burke. Also Keith Urban, John Mayer, and Norah Jones’ acoustic rendition of Dolly Parton’s “Jolene” was probably one of the most beautiful versions of the song I’ve ever heard.
Also at the top of my list was the Eminem, Rihanna, and Dr Dre perfomance. Rihanna’s voice is unbelievable.
I ran into Barry Manilow after the awards ceremony and chatted a moment. He’s one of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet.
The biggest highlight of the event was to be able to take my daughter Corrina and her friend Nico. She works very hard in school and brings home the A’s, and is also the Band Leader of her section (clarinets). Corrina’s teacher Mr. Levine personaly told me she is an exceptional student who works above and beyond and shows the true qualities of a leader, meaning our talks of goal setting, achievement, success and leadership since she was 5 years old, she not only took mental notes but has put them into action….so as every year events like this at stage level on the ground floor, red carpets etc, are reward her for her hard work. It was a tremendous event for her to be able to attend and to meet some of her favorite celebrities and I’m glad she had to opportunity to experience it. I am so proud of her and most importantly she is also a beautiful person inside. For all my hard work this is truly the greatest reward for me.
