I recently had a role in the Showtime series “United States of Tara”.
Toni Collette is fantastic at playing her role of a single mother with multiple personality disorder trying to raise a dysfunctional family. It was really fun working with her. She is wacky and unpredictable…you feel like you never know what you’re going to get hit with next around her.
We had to shoot a scene on an airplane which, at one point, goes through some serious turbulance. The scene was shot in studio on a mock 747 passenger cockpit. The whole mock cockpit was mounted on a machine that jolted the thing all over the place to make it feel just like turbulance. It was an awesome experience.
The episode should air some time in March 2011. It’s going to be season 3 episode 5.
